“Safe Scouting” is our commitment to provide you - our Scouts, our Leaders, our Parents - with the tools to participate in and enjoy Scouting safely.

Safe Scouting

• Is the training we provide to leaders

• Is the material we provide our Scouts and their parents on “How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse:  A Parent's Guide.” If you haven't seen it, it's an insert inside the front of every Cub Scout and Boy Scout handbook.

• Is the videos we make available to packs and troops, "It Happened to Me," and "A Time to Tell."  Every pack and troop should view these annually.

• Is the policies we provide to our leaders, to help maximize the safety of Scouting.
